Join us and our organizing partners at the Texas Gulf Coast AFL-CIO, the Houston Federation of Teachers, the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, Community Voices for Public Education, the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus as we engage in a Day of Action in support of our endorsed candidate, Lauren Ashley Simmons, running for House District 146 to unseat anti-LGBTQ Rep Shawn Thierry. We will be knocking doors in the district ahead of early voting. There will also be an option to remote phonebank in support of Lauren as well! Bring a friend and join us to help unseat an anti-LGBTQ elected official here in Houston.
